Andrew Garrett serves as an Advisor and Board Member for Spotlight Development, contributing to the company’s long-term investment strategy and mission-driven approach to inclusive real estate. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, Andrew has overseen more than $8 billion in new-build developments.

Andrew brings deep expertise from his leadership roles at Cadillac Fairview and IMCO, where he cultivated high-impact partnerships and delivered projects that consistently surpassed industry benchmarks. His commitment to community building is reflected in his service on the Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force and ongoing advocacy for sustainable development.

Andrew holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a certificate in Crown Corporation Board Director Effectiveness from the Institute of Corporate Directors, advanced training in Real Estate Development from MIT, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph.
