Alex Mbaya-Buzangu

Alex Mbaya-Buzangu is an Investments Associate at Spotlight Development Inc., where he supports the underwriting and financial analysis of the company’s development projects. He brings extensive experience in corporate finance, property dispositions, and real estate underwriting from his tenure at both Metrolinx and CMHC.

Throughout his career, Alex has played a key role in advancing loan applications ranging from $3M to $25M, conducting due diligence, and executing real estate transactions valued at up to $10M, including commercial land dispositions and easements for residential and commercial properties.
